Hey there, future family! Gregory here, and I have a LABsolutely wonderful feeling we’re going to be best friends!

I’m a 4-month-old Labrador Retriever puppy who made the long journey from the South in hopes of finding my forever home. I’ve got a whole lot of love to give, a tail that never seems to stop wagging, and a personality that’s sure to make you smile!

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve never met a stranger, just a friend I haven’t played with yet! I absolutely LOVE people, and I’m always happy to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four! I’ve also done wonderfully with other dogs, and let me tell you, playing with my canine buddies is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world! If your current pup has been wishing for a younger, playful sibling to romp around with, I’m your guy! Think of all the zoomies, wrestling matches, and puppy shenanigans we could get into together!

I’ve also done well with children, which means I could make a pretty great addition to a family looking for a fun-loving furry companion. Just remember, I’m still a baby (even if I don’t stay baby-sized for long!), so I’ll need a family that’s ready for all the excitement, learning, and occasional puppy mischief that comes with raising a growing Lab!

Speaking of learning, I’ve already been working on my leash skills, and I’m doing a pretty great job, if I do say so myself! I’ve still got plenty to learn, but with some patience, consistency, and maybe a few yummy treats, I know I’ll be one smart cookie.

I’m looking for a family who will love me through all my puppy stages, celebrate my little victories, and give me plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and grow into the wonderful dog I know I can be.

Hi friends! My name is Twix, and I’m a sweet little Pyr mix puppy looking for a family of my very own!

I’m only about 4 Months old, and my story started a little sadly. My sister, Aero, and I were found abandoned on someone’s front porch. Thankfully, a kind person took us in, and we’ve been learning all about the good life ever since.

I’m a very sweet boy, although I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. I’m getting braver every day, though, and I’m starting to come out of my shell more and more! I’ve been doing well at YGRR and with other dogs, including my sister Aero.

I’m also working hard on my leash training, and I’m doing pretty well for such a little guy! I’m still a baby, though, so my forever family will need to be ready for all the fun, learning, zoomies, and puppy antics that come with having a Pyr puppy.

I haven’t met cats or kids yet, so we’re not sure how I’ll feel about them. I could potentially live with respectful kids who understand how to be gentle with a young puppy and who are comfortable with puppy energy. I’d also do well with another dog who is happy to put up with a playful, energetic puppy brother.

I’m looking for a family who knows that a Pyr puppy is a commitment and is ready to give me the patience, training, structure, love, and attention I’ll need as I grow. I may be a little shy at first, but give me some time and I’ll show you just how sweet I really am.

Hi, I’m Isabelle, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle heart and a whole new world ahead of me!

I came to YGRR from a puppy mill in Ohio, so I didn’t get to experience all the normal things a dog should while growing up. Because of that, I can be a little nervous and unsure when something is new. But I’m learning every day — and I’ve already come such a long way since I first arrived!

One really great thing about me is that I like people! I may need a little confidence when we first meet, but once I realize you’re a friend, I tend to warm up pretty quickly. Underneath my shy exterior is a very sweet girl who is starting to discover just how nice people, attention, and affection can be.

I would really love to have another confident dog in my forever home. Having a canine friend around would help me learn the routine, show me that new things aren’t so scary, and give me some extra confidence as I adjust to family life.

I should also mention that I’m currently carrying a few extra Golden pounds! I could benefit from losing a little weight, so gentle exercise, appropriate portions, and eventually some nice walks as my confidence grows will help me get back to a healthier weight.

Since I’m still timid and can spook easily, a securely fenced yard is a must for me. I’d also be happiest in a quieter home without young children, where things are a little more predictable and I’m given the time I need to feel safe.

I may not walk into your home knowing exactly how to be a family dog, but I’m learning! All I need is someone who will be patient with me, celebrate my little victories, and let me blossom at my own pace.

Hi, I’m Truman!

I’m a handsome 4-year-old black Lab with a big personality, lots of energy, and even more love to give!

I came to YGRR after being found as a stray and brought to Boston Animal Control. No one knows exactly what my life looked like before, but when I arrived, I was definitely on the skinny side. The wonderful people at YGRR are helping me put on some much-needed weight and making sure I’m getting everything I need to feel my best!

One of my absolute FAVORITE things in the world is people. I’m a super sweet, social guy who loves being around my humans and being part of whatever they’re doing. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily join you on adventures and then soak up all the attention afterward, I might be your guy!

I also enjoy other dogs, especially ones who like to play as much as I do. I have plenty of enthusiasm to go around, so a playful canine buddy could be a lot of fun!

I’ll admit, I’m still polishing up my manners. Sometimes I get so excited that I forget all four paws belong on the floor, and I can get a little mouthy during play. I’m working on it! I’m looking for a family who will be patient, consistent, and willing to continue my training so I can become the very best version of myself.
