Hi there, my name is Marceline! I am a special dog whose story will melt your heart. I was originally bought at a flea market before I found my way to Yankee. It was discovered by those who originally took me in that I was different and in need of further medical treatment. I am fully deaf, but I wouldn’t know it since I was born this way! Nothing stops me, I am a high energy playful puppy. I am mischievous and use my voice when I am excited. Sometimes I am clumsy and trip over my own legs because they are so long, but I will surely grow into them. I will definitely be a big girl since I am a Great Pyrenees mix. When the time comes for my forever family to meet me, staff would love to show off the hand signals I’ve picked up while in my foster home. I am very smart and know basic commands through sign language! I do not know verbal cues. Some distinguished traits about myself are my double dewclaws and bright white coat. My ears have a mind of their own and flop around too. I will need a family that can respect when I am sleeping and have the patience to wake me up through touch. My foster family found that lightly touching my face helps me know when it’s time to get up. I can go to a home with young kids, cats, and other dogs. My forever family will need to continue with my sign language training. I am a typical puppy who is just a little different from the rest, but it doesn’t get in the way of enjoying the adventures life offers! I would love to go home with you!
