Make way, showstopping Simone is here to flex her impressive looks!

Hi there, I am Simone a gorgeous gentle giant with a fantastic personality. As you can see, my silver coat and golden eyes are striking! I arrived to Yankee from a Southern transport. Since arriving to Yankee, I discovered I love people, cheese treats, and soft green grass. Despite my large size, I want to (and will) sit in your lap. I enjoy sitting with my people while getting brushed or receiving pets. I will lean my body into you to get comfy cozy with you. If I am not laying with someone, you will find me lounging in a shady spot in a yard. I will occasionally get the zoomies, and it is quite the sight to see! Rather than running, I gallop, and it will surely make you chuckle.

I require a fully fenced in yard. If you do not have a fully fenced in yard, unfortunately we won’t be a match. I can go to a home with older sturdy children that can handle my large size. I don’t mean to, but my love for cuddling can knock a young one over. I cannot share my home with cats-they just cramp my style. I do great on leash and walk well next to my human. I have met other respectful doggy friends here at Yankee and enjoy spending time with them. Staff and volunteers have been working with me to teach me some basic life skills. With the help of my favorite types of treats, hot dogs and cheese, I will surely pick up basic commands. My ideal family would be one that enjoys being outside as much as I do! I need just the right balance of outdoor and inside time. I don’t require a lot of walking, being outside chillaxing is perfect for me.

I will be a loyal companion to my forever family. I am affectionate, I seek out pets, and want nothing more than to lean in for cuddles. If you have a fully fenced in yard and are willing to open your heart to a big girl like me, I’d love to go home with you!
