Anchors away, it’s time to sea-riously fall in love with me. Hi there I am Rudder, a young girl that came to Yankee from the South. I am an adorable little peanut, with my calico coat and different colored eyes, I catch the attention of everyone. Since arriving to Yankee, I have found that I love soft bedding, treats, and all the pets I can possibly receive! I have become a staff and volunteer favorite with my gentle demeanor. I want to be where the people are! As a certified lap dog, I will curl myself into your lap and will lean in to get as close as possible. I would be so happy relaxing and snuggling on the couch with you!

I require a fully fenced in yard. Unfortunately, if you do not have a fully fenced in yard we won’t be a match. I can go to a home with older respectable children. I am still figuring out what toys are, but staff as seen me favoring the soft plushy ones! I am working on my life skills with staff and volunteers. I have been doing great on leash and am working on some basic cues. With some tasty treats and positive feedback, I will surely pick up on sit and lay down.
