Hi there, I’m Russell (Wilderness Explorer Tribe 54)

I’m a 1-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart as big as my fluffy coat (seriously, I’m very floofy). I’m on the lookout for my next forever home—could it be with you?

Let me tell you a little about myself. I love people. Like… everyone. Strangers? Friends I haven’t met yet. I’m always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and probably a full-body wiggle. I’ve lived in a home before, so I know a bit about being part of a family, and I’m excited to jump (okay, sometimes literally) back into that life.

I’m also a big fan of other dogs! If your pup is looking for a playful, goofy best friend, I’m your guy. I bring the fun, the zoomies, and the occasional “what are we doing now?!” energy.

Speaking of energy—I’ve got plenty of it. I’m still young and learning, so I’m hoping to find a home that’s ready to help me channel all this enthusiasm into good boy skills. I can be a little jumpy when I get excited (which is… often), so I’d do best with kids who understand I’m still working on my manners.

Oh, and just between us… I may have a slight fondness for socks. If it’s soft and smells like you, I might try to claim it as treasure. So keeping an eye on your laundry would be a great idea while I keep learning what’s mine and what’s not.
