Hi there, I’m Lad!  I’m a 3-year-old Lab mix with a big ol’ heart, a goofy grin, and an even goofier love for tennis balls—seriously, I can fit three in my mouth at once (yes, I’ve tested it… many times). It’s my party trick and I’m very proud.

I’m the kind of guy who’s always ready for an adventure. Long walk? I’m your walking buddy—I do amazing on leash, if I may say so myself. A splash in the pool? I’m already diving in. And if there’s a tennis ball involved? Even better. I’m also a big fan of attention and snuggles—I’ll happily lean into you like the oversized lapdog I am.

Now, let’s talk about my quirks (every good Lad has some, right?). I like my stuff and prefer not to share it—so I’m what’s called a resource guarder. And I’m not a fan of other dogs getting in my space—I can be reactive, so I’d really love to be your one and only pup. I’m also looking for a home without children—I do best with adults who understand my needs and respect my boundaries.

But don’t worry—I’ve got plenty of love (and laughs!) to give the right person. I’m a loyal, fun-loving, tennis-ball-hoarding kind of guy who’s just looking for a forever home where I can be my silly, splashy, one-of-a-kind self.
