Hi there, I’m Zeus — yes, that Zeus. God of Thunder? Not quite. Master of Zoomies? Absolutely.

I’m a Golden mix with a heart as big as my paws and a personality that’s 90% goofy sidekick, 10% majestic beast.

Right now, I’m currently in foster with some wonderful people who have really helped me learn and grow. They’ve been following the guidance from Yankee, and together they’ve helped me feel more confident, relaxed, and understood.

I’m a sweet, sensitive soul who needs a quiet, low-traffic household without children. New environments and unfamiliar people — especially men — can make me a little nervous, and I need time, patience, and understanding to feel safe. Once I trust you, though, I’ll melt into a loving cuddle buddy who just wants to be close.

I’d do best as your one and only pet — other animals can overwhelm me, and I’m happiest when it’s just me and my person. I enjoy walks, but I can get a bit dramatic on leash when I see other dogs. I’m working on it — I just need someone calm and reassuring to help guide me (snacks are a big help too!).
