What I need in a Forever Home:
- Patience and understanding while I adjust
- Another dog in the home
- A fenced in yard
- Dog-savvy kids are okay
Hi! I’m Jake! I’m a lovable 5-year-old Golden Retriever who’s looking for a family to call my own! Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can see if I could be the latest addition to your home! First of all, I’m a certified dog’s dog, meaning I love other dogs and other dogs love me. My dog friends at YGRR have helped me feel more secure and I’ve helped them build their confidence! Don’t be fooled though, I am totally in love with people too. When I first meet you, I will probably be shy and nervous but once I’ve had a little time to warm up, I’ll be right next to you trying to soak up all the pets I can! I’m super cuddly so getting pet by my favorite people is the best! As I mentioned, new environments can be a little scary to me but with a little bit of time and patience, I can settle in no time!
I haven’t quite figured out what toys are yet but maybe when I’ve settled into a home I will learn! Walks are one of my favorite pastimes. Once I’m comfortable with you, I walk very well on a leash so walking with me will be fun and easy! I just ask for patience as I adjust because I may not be super into walks when I’m still getting a feel for everything. A fenced in yard would be super helpful during this adjustment period so I can freely explore at my own pace! When I’m not enjoying the outdoors, you can find me cuddled up on a cozy dog bed. I’m a good mix of adventurous and relaxed!
I would love to share the home with another dog, as they make me feel happy and secure! I would also be okay sharing the home with some dog-savvy kids, as long as they understand that they should give me space while I’m adjusting, as to not overwhelm me. So what do you think? Does a loyal, affectionate guy like myself seem like a good match for you? I hope so!

Learn all about me!
Hi, I’m Malaki — a true Great Pyrenees through and through: majestic, independent, affectionate, slightly mischievous, and fully convinced I know what’s best at all times.
I’m still in my puppy era, which means I’m playful, curious, and very enthusiastic about chewing. Mental stimulation treats and sturdy chew bones aren’t just fun extras for me — they’re essential.
I’m kennel trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on leash like the handsome gentleman I am. I’ve also learned that my kennel is the place to be at mealtime, which works out perfectly since I prefer to enjoy my food and snacks solo. I do resource guard my goodies, so feeding me in my kennel is the safest and most comfortable setup for everyone — me included.
When I’m not supervising household activities, you’ll usually find me outside soaking up the sun like it’s my full-time job. I love being outdoors, so a securely fenced yard is a must for me. I play very well with other dogs and enjoy a good romp, but when it’s time for cuddles, I’ll make my way over and politely demand affection. I would do best in a home with teenagers, a fenced-in yard, and someone who’s ready (and excited!) for a big boy with an even bigger personality.
I can be a little aloof at times — very Pyr of me — but once I decide you’re my person, you’ll have a loyal shadow, a gentle cuddle buddy, and a very large heart devoted just to you.

What I need in my forever home:
- A family who is open to and supportive of a tripod pup
- Someone who loves classic Lab energy—playful, happy, and full of life
- A home ready to help me continue training and learning (I’m a smart girl!)
- Patience and understanding while I finish surgery and recovery
Hi, I’m Bafang!
I’m a 5-month-old Lab girl, and my name means “eight directions”—because my love goes everywhere, even if I only have three legs to chase it with.
I had a tough start in life, and unfortunately, I was injured, which made me a tripod. I haven’t had my surgery yet, but my wonderful friends at Yankee are getting me the surgery I need and surrounding me with all the love and care to help me heal. Afterward, I’ll recover safely in foster care while I grow stronger every day. Everyone says I’m at a really good age for this, because I’m young, resilient, and my body is ready to bounce back and adapt—just like puppies do best.
Even with everything I’ve been through, I’m still full of joy. I’ve got all the Lab energy—happy, wiggly, and always excited to meet new people. I love everyone I meet, and I already know several commands (I’m pretty proud of that). Praise, cuddles, and treats are kind of my love language.
When I’m all healed up, I’m hoping to find a home that’s open to loving a tripod and excited about the extra heart and determination I bring. I may have three legs, but I have a huge spirit, endless affection, and love that reaches in all eight directions.
I’ve already learned that tough beginnings don’t define you.
I can’t wait to show my future family just how much love I have to give.
