Welcome to the new and vastly improved SAK program! This is about as close as you can get to our fabulous rescue residents without actually coming to Riverview. There are two levels of sponsorship; for our general kennels and for our medical and senior dogs. Sponsorship costs have risen, reflecting a very significant increase in the cost of care.

As you know, once dogs come to us, YGRR spares no expense in bringing them back to medical and behavioral health. We heal them before we place them. We ask you to open your hearts to support these precious souls with a larger yearly contribution. With these increases, we will provide a much more up close and personal look at the dog (s) you choose to sponsor. 

Here are the details.

The full-year sponsorships of General Sponsor a Kennel or Senior/Special Needs Sponsor a Kennel will offer four quarterly updates, including:

• Quarter 1 – A new dog in your chosen kennel type, and their story of how they came to be at YGRR
• Quarter 2 – An update on that dog, whether still at Yankee or adopted and living in his or her forever home
• Quarters 3 and 4 – A second dog in your chosen kennel type and their initial story and their update
• Our quarterly magazine, the Golden Times, will be included with any SAK sponsorship! Lots of info, updates, and fun things to read about Yankee
• Insider videos each quarter of happenings at Yankee

• Quarters 3 and 4 – A second dog in your chosen kennel type and their initial story and their update

What does a sponsorship cost?

• $100 annually for a General Kennel Sponsorship (does not include Golden Times)
• $250 annually for a General Kennel Sponsorship
• $500 annually for Senior/Special Needs Kennel Sponsorship 

If you are already a member, your fee will not change. Upon renewal, we hope you will dig a little deeper to help defray the dramatically escalating expenses for all things related to rescue care. For those current and new members joining this effort, we appreciate your generosity.
