Hey everyone! I’m Wrigley, an awesome 5-year-old Doodle who’s looking for my forever family! Let me give you the 411 about myself. I’m just about the most playful pup there could be! I am so good at entertaining myself with toys! Every toy is an opportunity to have the best time ever! I will happily play by myself but I also love when someone joins in on the fun! Whether we’re playing tug, or fetch, or just running around with each other, it’s a great way for us to bond together. I can be a little shy meeting new people, especially men, so engaging me in play upon first introductions helps take some of the pressure off! Once I’ve learned that I can trust you I am the sweetest, funniest guy!

I also love being pet! I will often push my nose into you as a gentle suggestion to give me more pets! Oh, and walks? Love them too! I have excellent leash skills and love to take a nice stroll around the neighborhood! I’m hoping my new family will take me out on plenty of adventures!

Another thing about me is I have this thing called sleep startle. This means that I get really confused and scared when people wake me up suddenly. I would prefer if you don’t touch me while I sleep, it really stresses me out! If you need to wake me up I prefer you to use your voice so I can feel safe and calm as I wake up from my sleep.

Additionally, I’ve done well with some dogs in the past but I would still prefer to be the only dog in the house. This is because dogs don’t really understand my sleep startle. The same goes for kids, I would prefer not to share the home with any kids please!
