Hi, I’m Teddie!

I’m a friendly, affectionate guy who’s all about those cuddles and belly rubs! If you’re looking for a loving companion who will thrive on your attention, I’m the dog for you. I absolutely adore people and I’m always happy to be around my human friends, getting lots of love and giving plenty of tail wags in return. I’m also great with other dogs, so if you have a doggy friend for me to play with, that would be amazing!

One of my absolute favorite things to do is spend time outside, running around the yard. I love playing fetch, chasing toys, and just enjoying the freedom of being outside. A home with a nice, spacious yard where I can let loose and burn off some energy would be a dream come true!

I want to be open and honest with you about a few things so you know what to expect. I’ve faced challenges with resource guarding in the past, especially regarding my food and toys. When I’m enjoying my favorite things, I can become a bit protective. However, I’m actively working on improving this behavior and am committed to making positive changes. With the right support and some patience, I believe I can keep progressing. It’s important for me to find a family who understands that this is part of who I am and respects my journey.

I would do best in a home without young children, as I feel most comfortable in an environment that’s calm and steady. I’m looking for a family that can dedicate time to working with me, helping me feel secure, and teaching me how to share and trust.
