Red rover, red rover, send my forever family on over! Hi I’m Rover, a gentle giant here at Yankee. I came from an Amish breeding community where I endured a life that no one should be exposed to. A lot scares me and I can’t be blamed as life was tough before arriving at Yankee. I am working on overcoming my fears as I become easily overwhelmed.

I need a home where I can be introduced to things with care and patience. I am good with other dogs, a family with a dog would be best as I need guidance through this new world. I love to be brushed and pampered, I find it very relaxing.

I look to my people for direction and will let you know when I want pets! It is unknown if I am good with cats and kids, but I think little kids would be too scary for me at this time. My time here I have been very chill, but it is expected once I settle in a home my true personality will show! I want to be a dog, playful, active, and confident I just need the right family to show me the way.
