I’m a 2-year-old golden retriever, and I’m a very special girl looking for a very special home.

Please read my bio carefully—I know I’m cute, but there’s much more to me. I’ve had a confusing and stressful start to life, and it’s left me a bit unsure of the world. I’m sensitive to handling, slow to warm up to new people, and I need time, space, and understanding.

I’m also a resource guarder—with items I consider high value. That means I need someone who understands dog behavior, can manage my space respectfully, and won’t push me into situations I’m not ready for.

Other dogs stress me out, so I need to be the only dog in the home. I really mean that—no other pets.

But here’s the good part:
When I feel safe and trust you, I’ll bring you my toys, seek out your affection, and show you just how loving and playful I can be. I love the outdoors—playing fetch in a fenced yard is one of my favorite ways to feel calm and happy.
