Hi there! I’m Riley, a sweet 5-year-old girl who’s still getting the hang of this whole “home life” thing. I came all the way from the South, and let me tell you, I’ve never been in a home before, so I’m still learning the ropes. But don’t worry, I’m a quick study, and with a little patience, I’m gaining more confidence every day!

I’ve met other dogs, and I’m a respectful and playful girl, but I don’t have to go home with another dog. I’m totally content being your one and only—though I wouldn’t mind a dog buddy if that’s your thing! I walk so well on the trails, you’ll be amazed at my leash skills.

I may be a little timid when I first settle in since I’ve never had a real home before, but with time and lots of love, I’ll open up. Oh, and about my ears – they weren’t in the best shape when I arrived at Yankee, but I’ve been getting the treatment I need and I’m feeling much better now!

One thing I know I’m great at? Belly rubs. I’ll roll over with a big smile to show you just how much I love them! I may be shy at first, but with a little encouragement, my enthusiasm will shine through—and trust me, my smile is one you’ll never forget.

I’m looking for a home that can meet me where I’m at and shower me with attention as I continue to grow and learn.
