What I need in a home:

• I can go home to other dogs who match my energy
• I can go home to older kids who are okay with my large size
• An active family that enjoys walks, and making memories together

Hi I am Rico! A Great Pyrenees who arrived to Yankee all the way from Texas. While being here at Yankee I have enjoyed daily walks with volunteers, yummy frozen treats, and doggie play groups. I walk great on leash and I have been learning basic life skills. Getting my fluffy goat brushed is something I also love!

I can go to a family that has older kids who are okay with my large size. And I have found that I like dog friends who match my energy. I see myself joining a family on daily walks, chill nights in, and having doggie playdates with friends.

We don’t know my history, if I was a stray or possibly an owner surrender, but what we do know is I am a love bug! I am deserving of finding my permanent home that will love me forever.
