LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL FOSTER

Will you be the jelly to my peanut? Hi there, my name is Miss Peanut! I am a 7-year-old golden that came to Yankee from the South. I am currently looking for a foster home that can provide me with the comfort and care I need as we navigate my vet appointments. I do take daily medication, but I gladly eat up with cream cheese!

Yankee staff does not know what I endured prior to my arrival here, but we they can only guess from the condition I arrived in. And despite what I have endured, I am a loving happy girl! I enjoy playing with toys, playing with other dogs, and am very people oriented. I like to find my spot at your feet and take naps by your side. I am a pro at fetch too, a yellow ball gets me real excited, and I bring it back to continue the game. I enjoy laying on soft bedding, as well as collecting my toys on my bed. You will laugh as I create a pile of toys next to myself! I have an easy-going demeanor. I do not need a long walk to be happy, as an older girl a short stroll is enough for me! I have been staying in a crate every night and sleep peacefully throughout the night. Despite my bumpy past, my permanent smile shines through.

I can go to a home that has children, cats, and other dogs! I truly get along with everyone. People of all ages spend time with me and I soak up all the attention. I spend time with other dogs and gladly share my toys. If you have the time to commit to me, I’d be so grateful. With a wagging tail and big smile, I will always be the first one to greet you when you come home. What do you think, are you nuts for me?
