Hi there, my name is Marceline, aka Marcie! I am a big Great Pyrenees girl whose story is unlike any others. As a young puppy, I was originally bought at a flea market. It was discovered by those who originally took me in that I was different and in need of further medical treatment, that’s when Yankee was contacted. Yankee knew they could provide me with the care I needed, and find me my forever home.

It has been confirmed that I am fully deaf, but I wouldn’t know it since I was born this way! Nothing stops me, I am a happy-go-lucky, playful girl. Alongside my resilience and independence, I’m also very clever! I’ve already mastered a few puzzle toys and snuffle matts. I am very food motivated, and those treats hidden inside the puzzles are tasty.

I am looking for a home that has experience or knowledge about the Great Pyrenees breed. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and use my voice when I am excited! I am looking for a home that has a fully fenced in yard. A rural setting with a large, fenced in property would be best for me so I can run freely and chase balls and play with my flirt pole. I can go to a home with kids, cats, and other dogs! A dog that enjoys my playful personality would be perfect.

Staff and volunteers have enjoyed watching me grow from a small puppy to a majestic girl, but I am ready for my forever home! When the time comes for you to meet me, staff would love to show off the impressive sign language skills I know! That’s right, I know basic commands in sign language. I am a smart girl indeed.
