LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL FOSTER

Hey, I am Jesse! A stunningly handsome, with infinite charisma, golden boy. I am currently looking for a foster home that can provide me with the comfort and care I need as we navigate my vet appointments. I do take daily medication, but I gladly eat up with peanut butter!

I have been waiting for my forever home since my previous residence. My longtime owner unfortunately passed and I was left with a hole in my heart. Everything I had ever known changed. Yankee was contacted and asked to take me in. They accepted me with open arms, knowing they could find me a loving home. I arrived overweight with severe matts, sad and confused. I have now been on a diet and realized I am in a much better place!

At 8 years old, ain’t nothing slowing me down! While I am still on the larger size, it doesn’t stop me from enjoying a stroll, or a dip in the pool. Some say I am part whale, I enjoying swimming in water and catching waves! I do not need a long walk to be happy, as an older man, a short stroll is enough for me! I make staff and volunteers laugh with my goofy personality. I like to lay on my back, jump on couches, and giving kisses to my favorite humans.

I have been enjoying my time here at Yankee, and staff has fallen in love with me, but I would much rather relax in a home setting. My dark red coat is on theme with the crisp fall leaves and autumn air. I look scrumptiously cute in a pumpkin bandana! If you have it in your heart to welcome me into your home, I’d be so grateful.
