Hiya! Goldie girl here, your sweet Southern Golden Retriever with a heart of gold that matches my beautiful, fluffy coat.  I’m 5 years old and a bit shy at first, but with lots of love and pets, I’ve started to come out of my shell. It might take a little time to strike “gold” with me, but once I feel safe, I promise I’ll be your loyal, loving companion for life.

I’ve been working hard on gaining mobility and going on walks—I’m on a journey to shape up and feel my best! I’ve got a little extra fluff right now (okay, I’m a bit overweight), but that just means there’s more of me to cuddle. Affection means the world to me, and I love giving sweet kisses to show my appreciation for every bit of love I receive.

When it comes to my ideal home, I would be happiest with another dog by my side. Having a calm, confident buddy would help me build trust, show me the way, and make me feel safe as I come out of my shell. A nice, quiet environment would be perfect for me as I continue to gain confidence and blossom into my best self.
