Row, row, row, your boat, straight to Dinghy’s heart! Hi there, my name is Dinghy. With my red coat and large build, I am a FERRY impressive man. I came to Yankee from a southern transport. I have a second chance to love this thing called life. Despite my past, I have an unsinkable spirit. I love to run in the yard, share my space with a dog pal, and eat cream cheese. Staff has taken the time to build relationships with me and it has been so rewarding for them.

I require a fully fenced in yard. If you do not have a fully fenced in yard, we unfortunately won’t be a match. I can go to a home with teenagers that will let me approach on my own. I also need to go to a home with another dog. Having a dog friend helps me get comfortable. Staff has called me a flirt because it takes me a bit to warm up to people. When I have another dog friend that approaches humans, I tag right along! I like to have someone I can follow to show me that everything is okay. I have been walking on leash and doing well. I do not know any commands yet, but with a dedicated family I will surely get the hang of them.

I am determined to live my life to the fullest! With the care of a patient family, and a dog sibling, you will see my shell open on up! My future is filled with adventures, I just don’t know it yet! I’d love to join my forever family on nature walks, strolls through the neighborhood, and running in the yard with my new sibling. I am eager to set sail to my forever home, please inquire about me!
