Hi there, we’re Carla and Roxy, a sweet and snuggly bonded pair of 5-year-old southern gals who are looking for a quiet, patient home to call our own.

We may be a little shy at first—okay, a lot shy—but we’ve found courage in each other. Where one of us is unsure, the other says, “You got this, sis!” We’ve come such a long way together and are still learning what it means to be dogs in a big, exciting world.

We’ll let you in on a little secret… we’re both carrying a few extra pounds. But the good news is—we’re already on the path to getting healthy! With slow walks, yard zoomies, and the right balance of snacks and snuggles, we’re working on slimming down together. Think of us as your new wellness buddies—with very cute faces.

Right now, we’re still figuring out things like leashes and harnesses, so we’d love a home with a fenced-in yard where we can feel safe while we explore. We’re what the humans call “flight risks”—we just get nervous and spooked easily, especially in new places or with loud noises. So we need someone who will go slow with us, at our pace. No pressure, no rush—just gentle love, snacks, and soft voices, please.

When we’re not tip-pawing around the yard, you’ll find us curled up together, or snuggling up with our humans. We’re world-class cuddlers. Carla especially loves carrying a soft toy in her mouth—she says it makes her feel brave and cozy at the same time.

We’ve also met other dogs and done really well! So if you have a friendly pup at home looking for some soft, gentle friends to hang out with, we’d love to join the pack.

We know we’re not the easiest pair right off the bat—but if you’re the kind of human who understands that good things take time, we promise we’ll show you just how big our hearts really are. One day you’ll wake up to find us wagging our tails at the foot of your bed, and you’ll know—we’re home.
