Meet Rocky! 🐾

Rocky is a big, goofy puppy right in the middle of adolescence, with a huge personality, a smart brain, and so much love and enthusiasm for life! He is sweet, silly, playful, and always ready for some fun. Despite everything he has been through, Rocky has maintained an incredible joy for life and trust in people.

Rocky hasn’t gotten to have the typical puppyhood he deserved. He has spent months dealing with injuries, surgery, recovery, and lots of necessary rest, meaning he has missed out on many of the adventures, experiences, and training opportunities most puppies get along the way. Now, he is eager to make up for lost time! Please speak with our staff to learn more about Rocky’s medical history, recovery, and what he may need moving forward.

Rocky is an active, energetic boy who absolutely loves to play. Frozen Kongs, lick mats, chews, and rope toys are some of his favorites, and he is the kind of smart dog who will benefit from having plenty of fun ways to keep both his body and brain busy. He has also met other dogs and was very excited to make friends, greeting them appropriately, although his recovery limited how much actual playtime he could have.

Because Rocky has missed some important puppy experiences, he is still learning how to handle all of his excitement. Sometimes the world feels like a lot, and those big adolescent feelings can come out as barking, jumping, or mouthiness. He’ll thrive with a dog-experienced adopter who can give him positive direction, consistency, training, and plenty of appropriate outlets for his energy.

Rocky would do best with teens or older, and a fenced yard would give him a wonderful space to play and practice his skills as he continues gaining confidence.

This sweet boy has spent enough of his puppyhood on the sidelines. Rocky is ready to learn, explore, play, make up for lost time, and finally enjoy all the fun that comes with being a big puppy! He just needs someone who sees the wonderful dog underneath all that adolescent enthusiasm and is excited to help him become his very best self.

Meet Roo!

Roo is a stunning, incredibly smart girl who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Once you’re in her circle, she’s affectionate, silly, playful, and loves snuggles, pets, and belly rubs. Her foster family describes her as simply “so easy to love.”

Roo is active, food motivated, and loves to learn. She already knows several cues and has been doing great with clicker training and positive reinforcement. She’s also a toy fanatic who loves balls, sticks, rope toys, puzzles, and zoomies. And her absolute favorite? Water! Give Roo a kiddie pool and she’ll leap right in, chase her toys, and even blow bubbles underwater while fishing for a ball.

Roo is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced adopter who can give her structure, predictability, and time to build trust. She can be sensitive and reactive to unfamiliar people, dogs, sounds, and movement, so a home with few visitors and continued training will help her thrive.

Roo is a true homebody who is happiest enjoying the comfort and predictability of her own space, rather than joining her family for trips, outings, or travel. She is fully house trained and would love a fenced yard where she can safely run and play. Roo needs to be the only pet in her home, with no dogs or cats.
