Meet Roo!

Roo is a stunning, incredibly smart girl who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Once you’re in her circle, she’s affectionate, silly, playful, and loves snuggles, pets, and belly rubs. Her foster family describes her as simply “so easy to love.”

Roo is active, food motivated, and loves to learn. She already knows several cues and has been doing great with clicker training and positive reinforcement. She’s also a toy fanatic who loves balls, sticks, rope toys, puzzles, and zoomies. And her absolute favorite? Water! Give Roo a kiddie pool and she’ll leap right in, chase her toys, and even blow bubbles underwater while fishing for a ball.

Roo is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced adopter who can give her structure, predictability, and time to build trust. She can be sensitive and reactive to unfamiliar people, dogs, sounds, and movement, so a home with few visitors and continued training will help her thrive.

Roo is a true homebody who is happiest enjoying the comfort and predictability of her own space, rather than joining her family for trips, outings, or travel. She is fully house trained and would love a fenced yard where she can safely run and play. Roo needs to be the only pet in her home, with no dogs or cats.

Roo isn’t looking for everyone—she’s looking for her people. For someone willing to earn her trust, this special girl has so much love, laughter, and personality to share

Meet Shasta & Howie!

Shasta and Howie have already been on quite the adventure together. These two arrived at a shelter in Texas side by side, made the journey all the way to Massachusetts together, and now they have just one more trip to make: home, together

Shasta is the lovely lady of the pair, and Howie is her handsome sidekick. These two absolutely adore each other. They play together, snuggle together, explore together, and are happiest when they’re side by side.

Shasta and Howie are active, social, friendly, and always ready for a good time. They love people and seem to believe that strangers are simply friends they haven’t met yet. Whether they’re soaking up attention, playing together, or heading out for an adventure, they bring plenty of happiness wherever they go.

They are also serious water lovers! Swimming, splashing in the pool, chasing the hose—if water is involved, you can count them in! They’re looking for a family ready for plenty of playtime, outdoor adventures, and maybe their very own kiddie pool for those hot summer days.

After all that fun, these two are just as happy settling in for some quality snuggle time. They’re the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, with twice the personality and twice the love to give.

Shasta and Howie have stuck together through every chapter of their journey so far. Now they’re ready to start the best chapter yet—with a family to call their own. If you have room in your home and heart for two, this lovable duo is ready to make a splash!

Thor had a wonderful recent field trip, and we got to see even more of his fun personality! He absolutely LOVES the lake and could spend hours jumping in and chasing his ball. When his ball sank, this smart boy figured out how to dunk his entire head underwater to retrieve it!

Thor also loved exploring new walking paths, stopping to sniff everything, poke his nose into bushes, and investigate his surroundings. He has lots of energy and really enjoys being out and experiencing new things. He is very treat-motivated and listens well when treats are involved. He can get distracted when something extra exciting catches his attention, but with a little redirection, he is able to refocus.

One of the really nice things we discovered about Thor is that he is excellent at settling down, too! After enjoying his adventures, he is happy to relax and lie by your feet while you work. He really seems to enjoy simply being with his people, whether you’re out exploring or quietly working at home.

And perhaps the cutest part of his adventure? Thor loves being a copilot! He happily rides in the passenger seat and looks completely at home there. 😂

This field trip was such a great reminder of what a fun, curious, playful, adventurous and wonderfully well-rounded dog Thor is! ❤️
